Fair Farms is pleased to announce that it is currently seeking Expressions of Interest (EOI) to become a Fair Farms Independent Technical Committee Member. Expressions of Interest are welcomed from duly appointed and suitably experienced individuals interested in contributing their expertise, knowledge, and Industry feedback to improving the Program’s Certification framework and delivery.
The Technical Committee is not a decision-making body, rather dedicated committee which provides the technical expertise, guidance, advice and recommendations to the Board for consideration in enacting change and amendments within the Fair Farms Program Framework and supporting documentation.
This is conducted through revision and provision of expert advice regarding the Fair Farms Standards, Rules and Audit Guide documentation, and in accordance with the relevant Terms of Reference.
If you are interested in contributing to a leading National Australian training and certification program, then please complete and submit your Expression of Interest by close of business on the 17 February 2023.
The Committee will consist of the following expert members:
- Independent Chair
- 1 x Legal representative specialising in Employment Law
- 1 x Legal representative specialising in Work Healthand Safety
- 1 x Standards Development / Regulation Specialist
- 1 x Experienced Horticulture Industry Operator with practical understanding of operational, technical, and logistical facets of the Horticulture Industry
- 1 x Nominated Fair Farms Representative
